Founder and Executive Director
Talia Golshani
Talia Golshani is a senior at Beverly Hills High School. Starting her freshman year, Golshani has been working closely with the Beverly Hills Fire Department in teaching CPR, AED, and First Aid classes to the Beverly Hills fire fighters, police, city council, the Beverly Hills Unified School District’s staff and teachers, and the community. Golshani is also President of the Medical Science Academy (MSA), which is a three-year academic program at Beverly Hills High school designed for students interested in the medical and scientific fields. The Medical Science Academy has collaborated with AMGEN Inc, UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Hospital, Beverly Hills CPR, and Beverly Hills Public Health Department to create thought-provoking educational experiences for its students. Golshani is also a student-athlete and Captain of Beverly Hills High School’s Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field team.

As a one-to-one tutor for a special education student and Chair of Beverly’s Service Learning Program’s collaboration with the special education classes, Golshani has a close connection to the neurodiverse community. Her experience working with the neurodiverse community prompted her interest in neurocognition and neurodevelopmental patterns. Her working experience at the UCLA Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center working in a neuroscience research lab introduced her to the science of neurons and cell-to-cell communication, specifically its disruption in models of autism in mice.
Golshani strives to use her knowledge and resources in the field of emergency response and preparedness, to better enhance the safety of individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities in Southern California.
